Call for Speakers
We are currently accepting proposals for the following five tracks:
We're looking for experts in their particular domain of work, who could be working for an organisation, or as an individual. Kindly get yourself registered on our speakers' registration page. Moreover, below are the key pieces of information we are looking for -
- Which particular track and the target audience of the talk.
- Title of the talk, with a brief outline.
- A little bit of background information about yourself.
- Whether you've ever spoken earlier.
- Whether you'd require travel, logistics, or any other facilities.
Additional note: Considering the world-wide recession, the idea is to turn this into an opportunity (for good) for large-scale FOSS adoption around the region. Thus, the idea behind OSI Tech Days is to demonstrate to the Indian IT fraternity how with FOSS we can make computing better, faster and cheaper, whether it's deployment or development.

The Tweetup taught us that it’s all about “free beer”, and hardly about “free speech”

We had an attendance of about 20 people, including @PlaneMad, @narananh, @indiblogger and @abattoir. While the agenda of the meet was to discuss about the latest social media rage, businesses sprouting up around the same and marketing opportunities opening up, one of our look outs was to figure out how to amalgamate the open source ethos with micro-blogging services like Twitter and identi.ca.
